Iain Campbell

In testimony on Feb. 24, Iain Campbell, vice president and general manager of North America Service and Global WorkPlace Solutions for Johnson Controls, told the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce that “energy efficiency is the fastest, cheapest and cleanest energy source, and should be the first priority in addressing climate change.”

Campbell spoke at the invitation of the Committee at a hearing titled, “Energy Efficiency Complementary Policies for Climate Legislation.” The purpose of the hearing was to bring together experts to explore efficiency policies that could be incorporated into climate and energy legislation. Campbell talked about opportunities and barriers to energy efficiency.
